    Literally unreal.

    I must be dreaming !

    God does exist !

    1. To my pal, JD Dawson, who picked a helluva time to go to the hospital....just before the beginning of the game...

Last night was for you, buddy.

But the best part was the call from his wife, Linda.

After lingering in an emergency room waiting to be admitted, with what I assume, having tubes attached in every imaginable place...

...JD refused to be taken to his room until the end of the game.

Even possible death was not as important as watching the Cubs win a National League Championship.

Now that...gives new meaning to the definition...

      DIE HARD fan.

Now...get out of there. You have one day to get well.

      Series starts Tuesday.

The Cubs season was unbelievable. We watched every game. Saw the young players grow in maturity and skill. Saw Grandpa Ross shock us with unbelievable maneuvers! Montero with a Grand Slam!!

When the playoffs were over and they were showing the crowds at Wrigley...I cried. I couldn't figure it out why was I crying? Could it be that all my life growing up in Chicago I never believed this could happen, and it did???

So through my tears I thought of my Mother-in-Law, Violet who was the biggest Cubs fan of all, who passed many years ago. Would she be looking down and smiling too? Hell yes!

All Cubs fans thought this would never happen and it did.

Thank you Cubs for the best Baseball season of my life and ..........just 4 more!!!!

    Go Cubs!
