Within the past few months we've learned that there have been approximately 30 break-ins and burglaries in the Anthem Communities.

That is UNACCEPTABLE...and...must be STOPPED.

The best way to solve our latest community concerns ?

....be aware of your surroundings and if you know of a location that has been affected, let us know.

So, in order to enhance our safety, we've created 2 New Information Pages.

 The first is entitled:

"Keeping The Neighborhood Safe"

This Page will be devoted to ideas to keep you safe....

...what to do if you see something suspicious and / or activities you might incorporate into your daily lives to make sure you and your neighbors feel secure in your environmental surroundings.

The second is entitled"...

"Resident Reports of Concerning Neighborhood Crime Activity"

This is YOUR PAGE

Our intention here is not OUR REPORTING UNLAWFUL and DANGEROUS ACTIVITY, but YOURS.

We will not publish our articles here, but only news YOU BRING US.

If you are aware of any activity you feel the community should be aware of, merely SEND THAT INFORMATION TO US.

We want you to report any news of burglaries, break-ins, dangerous drivers, and locations in which you feel UNSAFE.

Send us pictures and we'll post them for all to see.

And...we will...in this case only...

...not enforce our "must use a real name in order to post" rule in order that your privacy is maintained.

We'll print your observation and any information you might have.

We are NOT the police department, but we do reach between 1,500 and 2,000 readers each and every day.

And the best...and...in our opinion....most accurate and up-to-date information...

...will come from YOU.

So...keep your eyes open, and if you see something that looks suspicious, first CALL THE POLICE.

Then, send us the information you have, AND tune in to Anthem Opinions during the day to find out if there is any news about your neighborhood.

All you need do is send us an email at:

We hope you find our new Information Pages useful in your daily lives, and we strongly suggest you log into Anthem Opinions several times each day for information YOUR FELLOW RESIDENTS have told us and feel you should be aware of !

Look for our first "Keeping the Neighborhood Safe" article on Monday morning's eblast to subscribers, along with any news from residents in our "Resident Reports of Concerning Neighborhood Crime Activity".

See you tomorrow morning.
