We have been made aware that on August 14, 2017, the following letter was sent to the Sun City Anthem Board of Directors and acknowledged by certified letter, return receipt, on August 15, 2017.

"The enclosed petitions signed by in excess of 830 Sun City Anthem residents state the reasons Sun City Anthem Manager, Sandy Seddon,  has lost the confidence of the residents in her ability to manage Sun City Anthem Association effectively."

"It is urged that the Board act promptly in correcting these issues, and if necessary, remove her from her current position to properly address the gravity of the situation she has created which has had the affect of adversely affecting both the financial strength and morale of the Sun City Anthem community."

"Please include this letter and copies of all petitions in her personnel file and confirm that this has been properly brought to your attention, as well as, this documentation becoming a part of her personal permanent employment records."

Our observation:

The number of signed petitions exceed the number signed to remove Directors Weddle, Nissen, Waterhouse, and Burch, clearly indicating dissatisfaction with a large number of Sun City Anthem owners.

Though these petitions are non-binding, we would hope the concerns of this substantial number of individuals will properly be addressed.

Now our questions to you?

What, if any action, would you take, if you were an employer and received such a letter that included a substantial number of residents expressing their lack of confidence in an individual?

If retained, should this have an impact on future compensation raises and/or bonus arrangements?

  1. Hey Mr. Burch, how about answering some of our questions instead of accusing us of committing a crime?

Folks you have to read the latest comment from one of our "distinguished" removal nominees, and published by a fellow blogger whose past business experience wouldn't fit in the same thimble as BOB BURCH's.

Keep in mind that blogger suggested we redo the Liberty Center bocce courts into croquet and recommended Aletta Waterhouse, the librarian, over an individual whose construction experience would have proved invaluable.

Burch has NEVER VOTED IN ANY WAY OTHER THAN TO SUPPORT HIS FELLOW MACHINE Board members.

    States the blogger:

"The crime. During the member comment period, Board Director Bob Burch spoke on what he called a crime that should not exist in SCA. Bob rose to note the absence of those bloggers who he believes are misleading residents about the Association’s financial condition. Bob said that their failure to attend such meetings reflects their apparent lack of interest in learning the financial facts of SCA."

What was a CRIME, Mr. Burch, was your condoning a fellow Board member interfering with a Removal election and an SCA employee's sending emails to Club Presidents asking them TO VIOLATE Sun City Anthem's rules about only using such correspondence for club business.

Strange you never seemed to comment on that.

And by the way, Mr. Burch, we made a sincere attempt to ask the Association Treasurer to respond to our questions, which he has yet to do.

You never seemed to bring that up either?

As a matter of fact, you and your "machine" have had signed petitions in your possession for in excess of 2 weeks and you haven't even seen fit to formally announce that to the owners, have you?

But...I guess that seems to be acceptable, right ?

Those of us OVER 825 OF US, see YOU and your fellow REMOVAL nominees, as committing the crime, Mr. Burch, the "crime" of hypocrisy.

Folks, can you believe this guy is in charge of handling $8 million of your dollars a year ?

I guess the other 7,000 unit owners who don't go to those boring and one-sided meetings must have committed a "crime" too, huh Mr. Burch?

Your thoughtless and asinine statement shows how unfit you are to handle millions of dollars.

Give her an immediate dismissal .

If any boss is dissatisfied with an EMPLOYEES performance, which is evident in the petition, her/his IMMEDIATE dismissal must occur!
    2. Al, what I enjoyed most about your comment was the part about "the boss".

The community tends to forget...the unit owners are the BOSS, not merely 7 people on a Board.
