The Vegas Voice...June Jamboree...A Success We Want to Share with All of You

On Saturday, The Vegas Voice sponsored an event "June Jamboree" that celebrated their 10th anniversary of publication. 

Yours truly was there along with so many other Sun City Anthem residents...those who love the entertainment world offered to all of us...by simply GETTING OUT to enjoy LIFE... the way it was meant to be experienced !

I saw many people who attend the Dennis Bono Show each week at the South Point, as well as, those who go to Sam's Town for their "Variety Toast of The Town" show, and some Summerlin neighbors who take in the Sun Coast's weekly "Variety Show".

And it's all for you...the seniors of the Las Vegas valley...FREE of charge !

For over 3 hours, local celebrities dominated the Palace Station stage as the over 300 attendees laughed, joked, and joined in the fun as the entertainers performed one after another, mingling with the crowd before and after each performance.

...and with raffles and celebration cupcakes, along with a popcorn machine (with butter)....

...made it a day that we hope will be the first of many in the future.

Before and during the "jamboree" I had the chance to take my microphone through the crowds and get their reaction. As I strolled among the many visitors, with the entertainers making themselves available to all the guests, there left little doubt that all were there to celebrate and enjoy a special day.

And...they came from near and far... from Aliante to Boulder City and every part of the Las Vegas valley.

And...what a day it was !

We owe so much to these entertainers for the memories in donating their time to make it a day the audience will always remember.....
