With the many Las Vegas Strip Shows recently
closing, the nostalgia of "Old Vegas" continues to
dwindle day by day.
After all, when you see the "Elvis" impersonators strolling the Strip, many of those
walking alongside you are now too young to remember the magnitude he had on the
"Entertainment Capital of the World". Next August will be 40 years since his
passing.
On December 31st yet another "modern version" of a
"flash from the past" will close as well....
Why the melancholy over this particular
show?
...because it represents the end of an age that
Steve Wynn made a valiant attempt to preserve....
...yet a younger public no longer would
appreciate and support...

But in the words of another famous Broadway production...
There is "one brief shining moment" in
our "Camelot" that will forever be burned in their
memory...
A show that closed in
2009...
Follies Bergere
Remembered
...and there's a couple locations where
you can enjoy those memories of days gone by.
