certainly are, and we have to admit...
But...sometimes, in the spirit of making those we love aware of a problem, there's a better way to say it...or...perhaps sing it !

national plague, but there was one that stood far above the rest !

was sent to us by one of our valued readers, John Schmidt, and I
invite all of you to view it, and send to all you know who, like you,
must face this crisis day in and day out.

"says it all" in a manner that I believe, both
identifies the concern we all share, yet in such a positive manner,
to encourage hope and optimism for the future...

An Editorial We Reluctantly Believe Had to Be Said
To Our Readers
We Apologize to You
...but...
Some Things Have to Be Said
Anthem
Opinions will not go into many sadistic details of the completely
untrue statements that have recently barraged David's Anthem
Journal, however circumstances dictate that certain things must
be said.
Those articles had a terrifying effect on a woman whom I love dearly, my wife and partner of 35 years, and watching that fear turn into uncontrollable tears, made me realize that some things must be addressed, no matter how much I would have preferred to avoid them.
Other than the constant degrading by David Berman, over my entire life,
I have never incurred any such attacks on my integrity.
To be so humiliated by an individual whose past is filled by admitted illegal acts, and believed by those who find them justifiable, has always been baffling, that any individual who would gravitate to one of such flawed character, must have some form of sinister attitude toward life to believe what is obvious to any person with common sense, is untrue.
They are who they are, and they will remain so for the remainder of their lives, and we do our best to avoid them, despite the cruel and nonsensical comments that exist to hurt others.
Let me just say that I have never threatened any person in our community in any way...and I defy any person to come forth and prove that is not true.
...that those who know me look at me with a fun personality, enjoy my company, and have on numerous occasions, been in my home to enjoy some of the best of Las Vegas entertainment at parties that have had in excess of 50 in attendance.
...that local entertainers regard me as their friend, constantly supporting their efforts to make a living in order that they will remain in our town...
...that to my knowledge, few others who criticize me in the most demeaning manner, have either never met me personally, or judge me based on the condemnation of David Berman, who looks at those who oppose his views as ENEMIES THAT MUST, AT ALL COSTS, BE DESTROYED with whatever means possible.
...that I am just one of many who have suffered such degradation.
...that something like Anthem Opinions had to be established in order to MAKE PROPERTY OWNERS aware of certain decisions that negatively affect them.
...that David Berman REFUSES TO print, because doing so would HARM HIS MACHINE in order to maintain some kind of unofficial control he believes he has through his blog.
... that video tape of a Green Valley Ranch incident existed and that an incident report on file with the Henderson Police Dept. exists filed by myself, describing the incident of the vile and embarrassing actions Mr. and Mrs. David Berman committed toward me, completed by me within an hour of the occurrence AT THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF A GREEN VALLEY RANCH SECURITY OFFICIAL who witnessed the incident.
...that no such "attack" was reported to that Department by either of the Bermans was ever made; however, in a fit of rage, he quickly ran to his home exiting the casino yelling that I was a racist and anti-semetic despite knowing my wife is Jewish, to distort what actually occurred...unaware of my filing the incident report which he felt was not necessary, with the exception of reporting it on his blog in order to DISTORT the situation...believing that I might do so before he did.
...but Anthem Opinions refused to publish anything believing the matter was not worthy of public display and was PRIVATE until one threatening comment after another appeared on his blog by his readers.
...that once the account was reluctantly posted on Anthem Opinions bringing out the fact that video had been available....
...ALL SUCH COMMENTARY CEASED.
Those individuals realized Berman had LIED, yet despite the proof, continue to follow his every word.
...that any comments made by myself to Berman and Perlstein,
were NOT IN ANY WAY THREATENING, and were private emails telling the two individuals that disclosing certain matters might have a threatening affect on the safety on my family...
...yet despite that communication, was followed up with a Berman private response that essentially stated I and my wife DESERVED ANY SUCH harm...
...that he would degrade me further by stating he purchased a fire arm for protection at the suggestion of his "friends" for protection against me.
...when the real danger in a community is one who makes such paranoiac allegations out of an imagination without any justifiable SANE reason for doing so.
...and even was followed by subsequent articles that did nothing other than inflame a PRIVATE matter.
...all of which, to any NORMAL person would be deemed both irresponsible and unconscionable.
A subsequent "rant" by one of his readers, a Barbara Miller, was in direct response to the disgusting comments she made toward the members of the New Tradition Team in 2019. I believe those who subscribe can view them if they wish by searching her name, a publication I have not visited or commented on for a year.
Note she never disclosed any of her comments which triggered any others.
I wish to apologize to our readers for even bringing up such PRIVATE information that in no way constitutes anything that has to do with the 2020 Board election, but unfortunately, matters of confidentiality WERE VIOLATED by Paul Perlstein and David Berman, the result of which may indeed cause a deep physical concern for my wife and I.
Berman and Perlstein HAD TO BE MADE AWARE OF THAT since neither had the common sense to realize the possibility, and my correspondence plainly stated that if any such physical harm came to my wife and I as a result of the Perlstein article, both would be held accountable in addition to any comments by his readers which also inflamed the matter creating even further concern for my wife and I.
Perlstein never responded to the email I sent to him.
This matter is NOW CLOSED, but I felt it necessary to address our readers to once again, defend myself against the LIES and DISTORTIONS of an individual who for years, has created such havoc, and will stop at nothing to DESTROY anything or any person in his path who is dedicated to EXPOSE the CORRUPTION he has played a major part in for years...
...and will continue until it is once and for all DEFEATED...hopefully at the Ballot Box.
For those of you who choose to believe the Berman condemnation, we urge you to unsubscribe to our publication, but I will put my hand on a Bible to swear everything that has been mentioned in this article, is TRUE.

I ask you not to sink to a level demonstrated by the 2 persons involved in this senseless act, and can now realize WHY we believe Paul Perlstein is UNFIT to be a member of the Sun City Anthem Board, and that the likes of David Berman's thoughtless and revengeful actions toward others, must finally CEASE.

Fun With Social Distancing...A New Series
A New Series of Articles
Looks like we're in for continuing our " changing" lifestyle until at least April 30, 2020 since President Trump ordered the nation to continue its "shutdown" to curb the spread of the corona virus, and that to many of us, means..
What am I going to do with myself for the next month?
I think it's now well known that being a "doom and gloomer" isn't our style, and if you want to be obsessed with that virus 24/7, this isn't the place to come.
We're into "let's make the best of it", that watching the American economy tank, or viewing the hourly demise head count on news shows....
...does nothing but create panic and fear, and DEPRESSES THE LIVING HELL OUT OF US !
I've lost track of the emails we've received about warning after warning, but PLEASE...don't continue filling our mail box with them.
We know about the virus, we're concerned about it, we believe you should be aware of it, but we're NOT obsessed with it.
At the same time, we understand a number of you don't agree with our position, but our mission is to ENTERTAIN YOU, and entertaining you doesn't include reminding you day after day, hour after hour, and minute after minute, of your impending departure from mother earth.
Life (at this stage of the game) is too short...and with each passing day, gets shorter; and frankly, I get reminded of my mortality by merely looking in the mirror every day without being reminded of the earth's population coming to an end.
We don't deny that all of us should be careful, and the last thing in the world we would ever want to do is harm others, but while the lives of others must be considered, I have no intention of ENDING MINE in the process...
...that there are many activities available to enjoy until this problem passes.
Our Information Pages, "Local Entertainment Bargains", "Strip Entertainment", "Laughlin Live" and "Dining Bargains" are getting empty with this pandemic (other than the wonderful Facebook concerts), but we have a few ways to cope with "the new lifestyle" until things get back to normal in the days to come.
With all of this in mind, in an attempt to "entertain" both sides of the situation...
We're going to have a series of articles entitled"
"Fun with Social Distancing"
We'll check out some of the activities available to you both inside and outside the house....
...to assist you in getting past this American crisis.
and...we'll start tomorrow.
