Valerie, Remember that a weak Board allows it to happen.
A Board with strong leaders, would not.
She can only do what a Board allows her to do, and people like Candace Karrow do a great job in controlling the weak members of the Board, namely Weil, Coleman, and Scheutz.
As to why that is the case, and why they can't realize that she, as a reflection of them, is an embarrassment to good government, proves how weak they are and always have been.

Isn’t this illegal and cause for Sandy losing her job without her golden parachute?
We can’t punish the board members responsible, just not re-elect them, but Sandy should be somehow punished for the cover up.
