I don't know Candace Karrow but I'm sure she's a very nice person, However I think that she is extremely bitter because she wasn't re elected to the board and it's a shame that this is how she's leaving her legacy.
We should start renegotiate her existing contract.
If she refused,I think paying the $100,000.00 of Golden Parachute to terminate the expensive pay is worth the cause.We could probably event save from a lower pay new employee for the 3 years of her contract left.

Generally when a new President or Board is installed, it is common courtesy for the prior group to keep their mouth shut for a year.....apparently that didn't get put in the Board Policy Manual.
Your thoughts have been expressed by a number of individuals, and in my mind as this "New Deal" Board analyzes job descriptions and income levels, proper financial planning requires considering any and all options.
This does not mean a "blood bath" as portrayed by the MACHINE blogger; it means a stronger commitment to efficiency.
The world is now a different place since the country was shutdown a few months ago, and that requires a great deal of planning to adapt to it.
If you noticed, several unions in the Las Vegas valley have agreed to take 5% pay cuts to strengthen the economy.
The "Days of Wine & Roses" are now gone and A reasonable income is better than NO income.
One thing I have learned early on since moving here, is that you may be blunt, but you do not lie nor tell half truths as members of the "machine" have done year after year.
The voters of Sun City Anthem have spoken and have elected several new members to this current board whom have demonstrated the capabilities of listening to homeowners, not being nasty and arrogant, nor demonstrating bullying tactics and have shown humility.
Most of all, the majority of this board will try to make decisions that incorporate the best interests of the homeowners.

I heard she commented on my post/comment on her "guest" article after David did with hearsay and BS as well.
I won't read it or anything else machine blogger writes frankly anymore because it is BS trying to cause problems and dissension, and as you point out, hearsay.
I could not help myself and had to make a comment after I saw her "guest" article.
I will just let it go because you exposed both of them with the words you have written and distributed.
Sure glad we have more than one blogger in our community who exposes their kind of BS!

Linda, unfortunately, those that think of her are usually of like mind.
ReplyDeleteThere have been a few association officers that have been very disliked over the years, and Karrow would make it in the Top 3.
I won't mention the other two because thankfully they have long disappeared from the scene.
