Bob Burch Resigns from Sun City Anthem Board
A message was sent from Vice-President Rex Weddle stating Bob Burch, the current Sun City Anthem President, has resigned from the Sun City Anthem Board.
As stated in the notice:
To the Sun City Anthem Board...
"Under the provisions of NRS 116.3103.2(c), the Board will exercise its responsibility to fill an executive board vacancy until the next regularly scheduled election.
Also, officer positions of the executive board will be reviewed for the same purpose.
Both will be confirmed by Board action at a meeting of the executive Board."
Until the Board takes action to replace Mr. Burch and name a new president, the acting president will be the former President, Rex Weddle.
To the Sun City Anthem Board...
The SCA community is seriously divided on three important issues critical to its successful future:
- oversight of the performance and compensation of the General Manager and senior management team
- plans for food service and/or utilization of the restaurant space
- strategy to restore confidence in the SCA Board's commitment to represent SCA homeowners and adhere to the law.
In order to promote unity in the community, we strongly advise that the individual chosen by the remaining Board members entail interviews of various members of the community who would like to fill the vacant board position, not in secrecy as was the choice of James Coleman.
Our recommendation is evident; the choice of Nona Tobin who was previously elected to the Sun City Anthem Board, but was removed without conformance with state law and due process.
No wrongdoing was ever proved against Ms. Tobin.
The improper manner in which she was removed, as well as, the disrespectful manner in which she was barred from running in the past election, is a dark moment in Sun City history.
This Board now has the opportunity to correct that injustice.

If the remaining members of this Board wish to close the wounds of a divided community, It is time for this Board to show good faith, and cleanse the community of the taint created in the manner of her removal, and strongly consider allowing her to complete the term to which she was legally elected.

This entire matter is an example of how futile anything to the Ombudsman is in the state of Nevada, and rest assured, that when a new Governor is elected, we will call for HIS REPLACEMENT.
Complete Evidence of Burch legally belonging on the removal ballot was presented to that Office from 2 individuals, and how did that office handle the matter?
THEY DISMISSED IT WITHOUT EXPLANATION.
Did someone "get" to that office?
That will be something we will take to the NEW GOVERNOR in making a decision as to the future of that office. -

Dick, we have talked in the past and I signed the petitions for the last recall.
I want to thank you for staying on top of these issues and hopefully prevented another restaurant failure from occurring.
I was discussing the expenditure you outlined with a friend and he questioned the facts you have brought up?
He said we never spent the money on the the ovens or some of the other things.
How to I verify what was really spent as the association seems very secretive on this?
The machine is spinning the facts here.
This resignation is the best thing that has happened here in a long time.
It represents the change that hopefully has begun. The disinfectant for our problems is light. All this must be brought out of the darkness this association is and has created. -

The Board approved the purchase,and based on the Berman blog, in his typical condescending and insulting manner, was not subsequently purchased.
He stated that it was Air units that were authorized, not ovens, but they are pretty much part of the same thing.
Air vents are on top of the ovens, but of course, that technically means little to a jerk whose objective in life is to harm anything in his corrupt ways and to look for anything to create havoc.
This was not the first time I made our readers aware of the purchase, but until now, it was not disputed.
Mr. Berman obviously has a "back door deal" in which he is fed information not available to the unit owners, from the MACHINE and its General Manager.
So yes, the money was in the works to be spent, but thank goodness the restaurant deal failed, otherwise we would have taken another substantial "hit" to our association funds.
As to when it was stopped, that is a mystery, and it would be interesting to see documentation as to when that took place, rather than a general statement without details..
What's new when anything comes from him?
As usual it was a "spin", but evidently they stopped it...possibly as a result of the expose from Darcy Spears and the restaurant deal.
As to why that information wasn't published, well, that's the MACHINE at work.
At any rate, the question still remains...
Why in the world wold they even authorize anything costing $43,000 attached to a restaurant operation without knowing one would even exist..
...unless they knew in advance and "the fix" was in !
Remember, the man lost a law license a a result of his dishonest actions, and whenever something comes out of his mouth, the first thought that anyone should have is...

Looks like Mr. Mouth is once again doing his "dance" denying he lost his law license.
Let's see, if a Massachusetts judge says you are to be suspended from the practice of law for various unethical activities as in forgery and cheating a client including the state of Massachusetts tax department, someone might explain how that is not losing a license.
Now I hate to be redundant, but read it and weep folks. The guy is what he is, and it ain't pretty.
The biggest questions are:
1. Why did he never seek reinstatement?
2. How did he pass a background check to work for the federal government in a computer room?
3. Even stranger why would any lawyer worth anything, give up a law practice to be a flunky in the computer room?
In most states, forgery...especially of a judge, would not call for suspension, but likely being totally disbarred...and...likely TIME.- Now we once again have to ask our readers:
- "Would you buy a used car from this man?"
- We know of one Massachusetts judge who likely wouldn't !
- Don't you just wish this lunatic would just shut up and leave the rest of us alone and live in peace ?

Picture Darcy Spears paying Rex Weddle or Aletta Waterhouse a visit with a microphone in her hand alongside a camera recording it all !
Now add another report as to the terms of the previous restaurant deal.
How do you think viewers would look at that picture?
When anyone at Sun City Anthem refused to return Channel 13 calls, how did that look?
Did it remind you of a person on the hot seat taking the 5th amendment?
It certainly did to most of the Las Vegas valley.
I would think that if they were so proud in their accomplishments, they would want the world to know, don't you?

I find it enlightening that a man would make the following comment on the Berman blog:
"As a friend of mine, a retired law enforcement Captain from the Chicago area and who as it turns out lived in the same Chicago community development as Arendt, their are bad people in every neighborhood."
I also find it difficult to believe that a Police Captain would advise us that there are bad people in every neighborhood. I am certain we are all aware of that simple fact.
I make this statement because of my being a patrolman /detective, and Sgt. for the Chicago Police Department for 27 years.
I do know of one bad person in my neighborhood.
His name is David Berman.
He lied on his blog about a statement I made at a Board meeting, stating he had confirmed that erroneous statement with various board members.
He subsequently retracted what he had placed on his blog.
I then confronted him and requested the names of those Board members who supposedly confirmed the statement the he retracted.
He refused to name those individuals, and when I persisted, he subsequently barred me from commenting on his blog, stating I did not remain with the subject matter. -
John, after I read that comment, I sent this email to a Mr. Andrew Peluso, the individual who wrote that nasty comment on the Berman blog:
"You lived in the same develop as I did?
What was your address?
A Bad person? Would you like to more specific?
I have never met you in my life.
Please explain.
Thank you.

Actually, before I sent the email, I attempted to call him, but he has chosen not to make his phone number available to anyone in the community.
As to the email I sent, he has not responded.
I did check a source called ZABA search, and from what I could find.
Turns out that Mr. Peluso himself, lived in:
Henderson, NV
Palmdale, CA
Modesto, CA
Salida, CA
Las Vegas, NV
...and that's a long way from the Chicago area.
For those of you unfamiliar with the writings of Mr. Peluso, I would strongly suggest you visit the Berman blog and search his name.
His comments are perhaps some of the most venomous of any resident who has ever resided in the Sun City Anthem community.
If Mr. Peluso would respond, I would also very much appreciate if he would contact his supposed Police Captain friend and ask him to contact me and inform me as to who he is, what city he worked in, and the duration of his employment., and on what basis such a statement would be made.
Until that is received, it appears that this is just another way for The Berman Gang to toss more insults. -

Now of course this is the day following an article I wrote honoring the men who signed the Declaration of Independence and, according to this blog counter, was read by 1,541 people on a national holiday.So folks this really needs to stop, but after so many years, that does not appear to be possible with some who obviously haven't accomplished much in their lives, and whose literary abilities and reading enjoyment consist of reprinting association elblasts, reminding the community of their impending demise, and last but not least, BITCHING AND MOANING about selective individuals who has seen the real Berman and Gang in action, and feel a need to vomit whenever he is nearby.And so, I am sending out a plea to our community to assist in establishing a GO FUND ME account in order to obtain the necessary funds to purchase two white jackets that include restraints in order to protect themselves on their way to the Funny Farm.I think I've had enough of dealing with lunatics, but at least all who read the blogs can now see what populates David's Anthem Journal, and the value they add to society.I have much better things to do other than arguing with insanity.

How long will a community tolerate a NASTY, INSULTING NOBODY; an individual whose every move in life exhibits FAILURE, that follows him in whatever he does or wherever he goes?
Just what is the track record of his CORRUPTION?
He has recommended individuals whose decisions have resulted in failure after failure regarding restaurant activity.
He has recommended individuals who have used community assets improperly, examples of which include huge expenditures to recruit a General Manager and payment of buses to a political rally.
He has recommended countless things that has caused Sun City Anthem to lose thousands of community assets.
He supported the CORRUPT manner in which the removal election was handled.
What he has accomplished in life can be expressed in a single word:
EVIL
Nona may not be chosen, but the very thought of appointing Aletta Waterhouse would more than prove how corrupt this DISGUSTING MACHINE is, and will continue to be, under a group of individuals who were EXPOSED as wasteful AND totally incompetent recently by Darcy Spears.
Appointing Aletta Waterhouse, the "Librarian", who received 1,253 votes...40% of those cast in the recent removal election... would be a complete and utter act of defiance and INSULT to the community.
Did Waterhouse lose by a few votes?
Yes, but she LOST, but let's remind that fool that Nona Tobin WON, and was properly elected...and...he and his MACHINE, along with a General Manger who had received 836 "No Confidence" signatures and the with the assistance of a new Association Attorney, did everything in their power to embarrass and DESTROY her character.
Do you want to have such an individual back on the Sun City Anthem Board who has NO BUSINESS experience, and supported all the restaurant FREEBIES?
Would that really be the best choice out of 7,144 unit owners they could think of?
It is time to shut that insulting LOSER up with his ramblings that COVER UP and TWIST things again and again, that consist of nothing other than insult after insult, and looking every bit the individual whose corrupt behavior has continued since his dishonesty resulted in losing his law license.

Anthem Opinions called for an OPEN MEETING allowing others to be considered for a Board position.
Was that unreasonable?
Of course not...because THAT IS THE FAIR THING TO TO.
That doesn't seem to work for a person WHO WILL DO ANYTHING to CONTROL...a need that is "sick" at this stage of life.
Sun City Anthem Board, if you insult this community by choosing an individual who was the subject of a removal election and received 40% of the votes to remove her, all of you are asking for the biggest headache you could ever imagine.
This is no longer the community all of you "claimed" through your MACHINE, and day by day, their eyes are opening more and more to the financial DESTRUCTION you have created...along with your heavily medicated loser in life whose insulting ramblings belong in a gas station toilet.
Appointing an individual in a closed door session without allowing others to be interviewed, would do nothing other than create further division in a community in need of healing.
