Sun City Anthem Board Member
Clarifies Association
Transition Costs
In an attempt to open the lines of
communication between residents and board members, Sun City Anthem Director Carl Weinstein has sent us information that clarified a previous article
written by Anthem Opinions.
We are proud that Mr. Weinstein has
chosen to respond to that article, and we at Anthem Opinions, in our dedication
to telling THE FULL STORY....are more than happy to
provide this to you.
Thank you, Carl.  It is this form
of dialogue that we have desired for years...and you...are to be commended for
taking this step in "opening up the lines" between
Board and Residents.
We hope that other board members will
also take this path to UNDERSTANDING.

States Mr. Weinstein:
I noted on your blog that there have been
comments alluding to the fact that when we give FSR their termination letter we
would be responsible to pay them  a three-month termination fee, or,
approximately $100,000.
I can see that some would believe that
because two of our Board members made unclear references regarding termination
and/or fees.
This is to clear that up.
We pay FSR approximately $36,000 a month
for their services.
What the Board members meant was that the
sooner we terminate the agreement, the sooner we save $36,000 a month.
So by stating that we hope to accomplish
the transition three months earlier than projected, we will save the $36,000 we
WOULD HAVE PAID, if we were still being managed by FSR during those extra three
months which were no longer needed. I hope this clarifies this
misunderstanding.
Where the confusion may have existed is
that Sun City Anthem must provide a 60 written notice of contract
termination.
