Sun City Anthem Real Estate Values Increased While Removal Opponents Said They Would Fall

Seems that one of the scare tactics opponents of the Recall Election used was the threat of declining property values.

Unfortunately I don’t remember exactly who the individual was that promoted that drivel: it could have been someone on the SCA Board, it could have been the SCA BOD “Official Blogger”, another of his typical unnamed readers who look for reasons to attack people, or an ordinary resident whose life is considered complete by going to one boring association meeting after another.

I hate to burst your bubble (but I will):

Everyone that gets a copy of the monthly ‘Spirit’ magazine will find an insert from Proudfit Realty.

The insert this month reported the Median Sales Price for Sq. Ft. in SCA for the past 25 months.


 If one takes the time to­ actually read the chart, one will see that the median price per square foot in July, 2017 (arguably the start of recall petition efforts) was $185.00 per square foot.

As of September, 2017 the median price per square foot is reported as $191.00, (a 3.24% INCREASE in property values).

So, I am sorry if I ruined yet another myth of the Recall Vote Opponents, but as someone once said:
