Something New on SCA-TV
When
elbasts are sent to the SCA community, I don't think that many in the
community actually pay much attention to them.
After
all, how many times can you read the same Covid-19 messages?
...but...
...lately
something new seems to have been added that you might wish to...
...making you aware of SCA-TV broadcast announcements.
I realize that to many of you, this might not be a "big deal",
because let's face it, how many of you actually watch SCA-TV?
...but....there's
a big change that recently took place...
...and
it's something that, in our opinion, has been long overdue.
Over
the years, Sun City Anthem Boards have left a lot to be desired when
it came to making our community aware of what's going on, but now
that seems to have changed...
...with
another "New
Deal"
promise being kept by this current Board.
It
can be summarized in one word...
..and
it's now being made a part SCA-TV broadcasts with a Board member
report that can be viewed by simply clicking on the SCA-TV site.
The
recent broadcast included a message from Sun City Anthem President, Rana
Goodman.
You
may not attend a formal Board meeting, but now you can get a video
report of "what's
going on"
by clicking on this site:
The
site includes other reports, but if you wish to go straight to the
President's Report in this week's presentation, open the site, and go
to minute 9:45.
It's
a short 4 minutes and is worth watching.
How
many of you have actually been introduced to those who "call the
shots" for 7,144 homes?
Based
on the past (30-40 people normally attend Board meetings), a rather sad attendance number, but this
change represents an opportunity to listen to those who have been
elected to represent you.
This
week you have the opportunity to meet, Madame President, Rana
Goodman.
We
hope this will be part of each weekly broadcast and that the entire
Board will participate. It's one of the best ways for all of us
to meet them.
