In a surprise, the 2016 Board of Directors election got the welcome addition of Forrest Fetherolf into the ring of candidates.

Forrest Fetherolf has been a resident of Sun City Anthem for the past 8 years.

His generous contributions to the well-being of Sun City Anthem can best be summarized by the number of people he has graciously assisted in numerous examples of homeowner assistance over the years.

"He's always there when you need him"

A former Vice President of the Woodchips Club, he was also the former Treasurer of the International Cultural Club, and was responsible for the establishment of the Sun City Anthem Entertainment Club, painstakingly writing the club's charter, which attracted some 400 individuals into membership under his guidance as president in the first year of the club's existence.

Forrest Fetherolf is a "regular" at most board meetings and has tried to bring about reform to the "system" over the years, being opposed at every opportunity by those "kingmakers" who have brought years of waste to Sun City Anthem.

He has never ceased in his non-stop dedication to bring about fairness to those he calls "neighbors and friends".

Current board member Don Schramski, once commented..

"You are more qualified than I am to be on the Board"

It was Mr. Fetherolf who tried desperately to convince former board president, Roz Berman, of the importance of DEMANDING AN INSPECTION OF THE LIBERTY CENTER prior to acceptance.

Forrest, as a former Los Angeles police officer, was severely injured in the line of duty, and was forced to leave the force due to the many months he spent in the hospital recovering from his "on duty' injuries, going through some 20 surgeries...surgeries from which his survival was miraculous.

This former proud marine went on to management in Lumber City's investigative team uncovering numerous employee thefts, subsequently leaving that organization to go into business for himself as a well-known and VERY SUCCESSFUL contractor and builder of homes in the southern California area....so successful...that...

...his accomplishments are the envy of many...owning 9 properties in Sun City Anthem in addition to others in the Las Vegas area, managing them....and...with his experience at "knowing the construction industry", fixing just about everything known to mankind !

He passed that knowledge on to his son, Scott, who has continued the success of "Fetherolf Construction Company" to this very day.

Add all of that to his being Anthem Opinions "Mr. Fix-It" for its first 2 years of operation....NEVER REFUSING ANY RESIDENT REQUEST FOR HOMEOWNER ASSISTANCE (he is still called "Mr Fix-It" to this day)...

...we believe his sense of "community" is unquestionable.

...and with his VERY SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS career...

...adds the necessary BUSINESS EXPERIENCE lacking in the current administration which has brought WASTE and INCOMPETENCE in monetary decisions few can deny.

Mr. Fetherolf has been a PROVEN WATCHDOG in knowing the true costs associated with building construction matters....something NEEDED more than ever as Sun City Anthem enters self-management.

He cannot be influenced with the "go along to get along" attitude that has prevailed for years; has no fear in standing up for what he believes is right....and the result of his past has proven...

...this is the type of person SUN CITY ANTHEM NEEDS DESPERATELY as the financial guardian of future construction and maintenance matters.

Forrest's proudest accomplishments...being a grandfather and soul mate of the lovely lady in his life, Erlinda Pedrosa.

Mr. Fetherolf has also accepted our invitation to present "Position Papers" over the election period, promising to answer any relevant resident question.
