The Cafe V Saga....Beginning Tomorrow

Severing Ties with Cafe V:
Just More Rhetoric to Camouflage
INCOMPETENCE
Starting Tomorrow

Having read the commentary that was disclosed by Sun City Anthem Board  Secretary and former President, Jean Capillupo, in conjunction with Director Don Schamski, one would think that the expertise they demonstrated in "negotiating ability" should be lauded for the time and dedication they spent in severing our ties with Anthem Restaurant Partners.

As Judge Judy would say...

"What a bunch of "who shot John"

Only they would try to commend themselves for perhaps making the biggest and probably the most expensive financial error in the history of Sun City Anthem...

...which I'm guessing will soon be dwarfed when the full cost of the Liberty Center will be disclosed.

I'm not going to bore you with the actual verbiage of the agreement; instead I'm going to explain the REALITY of just what happened....and more importantly, how the actions of various board members, systematically COST YOU AND I thousands of dollars to rid ourselves of a problem, that should have been disposed of TWO YEARS AGO.

We have a two part article which looks at the history of this agreement, the "inside" of this agreement, and the continuous blunders made...blunders that cost association members thousands of dollars over the past few years...dollars that we will never recover.

Losses not a single board member has ever said....

We made a mistake...and we're sorry for doing so.

  1. Hello Dick,

My husband and I live in Sun City Summerlin. We read your post the day after you wrote it. We are still trying to find out what happened to our Favorite place to eat. We followed Vic since he was on the Food Network. We started dining at Vics almost as soon as it opened, we just happened upon it after being at the lake and needed a place to eat. That became our go to place to dine Often..

We are so sad to see it go and am trying to find out what happened because it seemed that it was a great place to dine. The only time we had an issue was Valentines 2015.. We came three times for Thanksgiving and loved it.

We know that it cost your homeowners and association a substantial amount of money, we are just trying to find out what really went wrong and when. We are very sorry for the loss of finances and the investment, but are sorry to see what could have been a great place go.

I didn't know where else to go to find your continued article so I thought this would be the best way for an answer.
